WoW Triple Team

I think that we should make a team in WoW....
Only the three of us and only characters that fight well with each other.
Someone will be a tank, someone will be a damage dealer, and someone will be a healer.

We would only play these characters when EVERYONE is on.
That way we all level at the same time.

For a tank, we have these options

Warrior - Complete Tank
(Only with Protection Spec)
Paladin - Decent Tank
(Can use some heals) (I cannot use)
Druid - Semi Tank
(Has to be level 10 for Bear Form)
(Not recommended for a serious tank) (Can use some heals)
The tank takes all damage and agro after all preparations are done

For a melee DPS (Damage Dealer), we have these options

Rogues - Dual Wield
(Becomes invisible) (Can pick locks)
(Energy bar recovers quickly) (Lethal with critical)
Shamans - Instant Caster
(Can rez themselves, then others) (Allows water walking)
(Mana drains quickly) (Totems need guarding)
Druid - Semi DPS
(Must have Cat form) (Like a Rogue) (Not for serious DPS)
(Can use some heals)
The DPS would assist with damage after the tank gets agro

For ranged DPS, we have these options

Mage - Crowd Control
(Area of Effect spells) (Can make food and water) (Bad armor)
(Good buffs) (Can transport people to cities)
Warlock - Forbidden Powers
(Has minions) (Can summon people) (Some spells require items)
(Bad armor)
Hunter – Beast Tamer
(Excelling long range DPS) (Uses pets and traps to slow enemy)
(Attack ‘dead zone’, cant attack at all at a certain distance)
The DPS would let the Tank take agro and then would assist with damage

For a Healer, we have these options

Priest… that’s about the only really good healer you can have. Every other healer is a hybrid of sorts…
The Priest would rarely engage in combat and primarily keep everyone alive.
The tank is priority number 1. Without the tank, we all die
The healer is priority number 2. We can survive without the DPS temporarily. If the tank dies, then the priest dies, we all die.

Private message me which role you would prefer, and which one you don't want.

Found some errors i need to correct

1. Paladins=2nd best tank (meaning, great tank if we don't choose warrior)
2. Druids have some of the best heals in the game next to priest.
3. Best team would compose of (imo) probably
Orc or Tauren warrior like you said
Warlock (Damage over time+curses and another team member)
Druid (if we don't need the heals, he can switch to whatever roll; off-tank or DPS, then back to heals when needed)
4. You forgot Paladins under DPS/Heals =P
Suggested Roles:
Ryan-Warrior (your great at tanking and I know you love it)
Luke- Warlock (all you gotta do is stand in the back and deal tons of damage, which I think you would have A LOT of fun with)
Joey- Druid(I've been known to be a good healer and I can switch so I won't get too bored)

Specs:
Warrior- Protection
Warlock- Research needed, but I think affliction for curses
Druid- Restoration

But this is just my personal opinion. Feel free to correct. If i don't respond its because I leave tomorrow morning for camp...early

Oh, and for the poll. It would have to depend on the class we choose.

Warrior-Ok but not the greatest
Paladin- One of the best choices, can have a healer, tanker, and dps
Druid- Pretty good, could have a tank (feral spec), spell dps, and healer
Rogue- Absolute fail. All three are mainly for melee combat. No heals, no tank.
Priest- Again, fail. Heals, but crappy damage output
Hunter- Ok, but no healer. But pets could help fill roll of dps and tank
Shaman- Same as druid, but more offensive than defensive
Warlock- Might be good, but would be hard. Summoning correct pets for the situation at hand. One pet tanks, I think its the blue one.
Mage- Fail. No heals, pure dps. Only heals would be conjure food/water

So if were to do that (would be kinda lame but cool at the same time) would be
Paladin trio, Hunter trio, or druid or shaman trio.

Hmmm. You'd probably know more about classes than me.
And we can't do a Pally trio...
I think I could make a new Warrior, Pure defense
Luke is good with warlocks
You were great with druids..
We are gonna have our own specialized team!

What are the races for warlocks?

The trio thing is a great idea.

Warlocks can be an Orc, Undead, or Blood Elf.
An orc might not be the best idea since their racial abilities have Axe as the best weapon and have their main buff be for melee.
Orcs are best for tanking

Undead could be a good class
The Undead can remove fear, charm, and sleep. This is great for magic classes.
They also have a better chance of dodging spells
Blood elf could possible be the best to go with
They can silence enemy spells for a while and have a decreased chance of being hit by spells
