I don't know what the crap you were smoking but WAL-MART said NOTHING about "crushing other stores". The journalist included that and only said it once! Don't forget, journalists will try to use negative synonyms to bias the review. He said "crush" which has never been said by anyone from Wal-Mart. He also used the word "admit", which I believe has a negative connotation that makes the readers think that Wal-Mart is guilty of something.
You see Ryan, through that article, there weren't any CLEAR factors that said "WAL-MART WANTS TO TAKE OVER THE MOTHERF%^&ING WORLD!!!!!!". However, we can tell from how they are stocking there stores that they are just trying to make competition. That's what business is now Ryan, instead of having many diffrerent stores so many people have jobs, we have few different stores that need less jobs but have WAY more crap in it.
Conclusion: Wal-Mart said NOTHING about crushing the competition, and the journalist seems pretty biased on this "Project Impact", assuming that Wal-Mart wants to crush the competition and won't admit it, making it seem he wants to put dirt on Wal-Mart. So basically, as of now, all Wal-Mart is doing is facing up to the competition and taking action.
